X-Mind® DC is Acteon's intraoral X-ray generator, delivering reduced exposure times and predictable image quality across both film- and digital-sensor workflows. Selectable settings (60 / 70 kV anodic voltage, 4 / 8 mA anodic current) optimize diagnostic contrast for the indication at hand, and a Toshiba DG-073B-DC double-anode tungsten tube generates a constant DC voltage that reduces exposure time by approximately 35 % compared with monophased units. A double-chamber light-alloy head houses the tube and electronic components in separate compartments — one in an oil bath for thermal regulation and high electrical insulation. Three arm lengths are available (400 / 800 / 1100 mm) for wall-, mobile- or ceiling-mounted installation across single- and multi-operatory practices. Exposure time configurable from 0.02 to 3.2 s in 17 stages, optimized for type-F intraoral film and most digital sensors.
