3M™ RelyX™ Try-In Paste is a non-curing, water-soluble paste used to evaluate the final shade of a porcelain or composite veneer (or other indirect restoration) before adhesive cementation. Each Try-In Paste shade is matched to the corresponding shade of 3M™ RelyX™ Veneer Cement and 3M™ RelyX™ Universal Resin Cement, giving the clinician confidence that the in-mouth try-in result accurately predicts the final cemented appearance. The paste is dispensed from a syringe directly onto the intaglio surface of the restoration, and the restoration is seated for chairside shade evaluation. After acceptance, the try-in paste is cleaned away with water — leaving the prepared tooth and restoration ready for definitive bonding without contamination of the bonding interface. Available in shades including Translucent (TRT), White Opaque (WOT), B0.5 White, A1 / Light Yellow, A3 and others to cover routine and aesthetic case requirements.
